Profiles
- Mostly relevant if you want different kinds of settings, depending on the kind of stream and platform
- They don't affect Audio Devices
Recording Settings
- mkv format
- record all audio tracks seperately and drop the unneeded ones
- NVENC or stream encoder, because NVENC is better for higher bitrate recordings, while x264 is better for low bitrate streams
- keyframe interval set to 2, for compatibility
- bitrate 45Mbps+ for 1440p
- always do a trial recording
- record to a secondary SSD, make sure to change the locations
Stream Settings
- use x264, it looks better in lower bitrates
- bitrate at least 2500kbps for 720p, streaming
- YouTube allows higher bitrate for non-partners
- bitrate of recording streams might be need to be set lower when recording a stream
- popout the YouTube live chat

Best Settings
- Base & Scale Resolution should be same as your computer's monitor
- Scale down in stream / recording settings
- Profile should be main, CPU usage preset should be faster
